At the 103rd National Meeting of Members of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada in Saint John’s New Brunswick,
August 14 – 15, 2023,
Life Member Shari Guinta from St. Michael’s parish in Waterloo was elected National President. Most Reverend Wayne Lobsinger, Auxiliary Bishop of Hamilton was appointed as National Spiritual Advisor
for the next two years. We are so blessed to have both Shari and Bishop Lobsinger from our Hamilton Diocese,
leading us to have a closer relationship with Christ. Joan Schurter was commissioned as Life Member
as she received the Sign of the Cross on her hands from previous National Advisor,
Most Reverend Steve Jensen, as he asked Almighty God to make her living proof of its saving power
and support her always
as she serves Him through her service as a life member.
